Schedule meetings in Google workspace
Webex for Google Workspace makes it easier than ever to schedule and join meetings in Google Calendar. Your administrator follows a simple process to make the Webex integration available in your Google Calendar. You don't need to install anything. Add a full-featured meeting or Personal Room meeting for conferencing. Choose the time and how often you want the meeting to repeat. You can also schedule exceptions to a recurring meeting series.
Join meetings from Google Calendar
The calendar invite shows the meeting details and includes a link to join the meeting. To join from a standards-based video system, dial the video address.
If your administrator enabled the Webex Hybrid Calendar Service, it's even easier to join meetings scheduled from Google Calendar. A join button appears before the meeting starts on your video device and also in Webex App.
Schedule meetings in Gmail
Schedule a meeting in Gmail for Google Workspace directly from an email message so that you can follow up with recipients face to face. Click in the side panel and select Start or Join under Upcoming meetings. Change the meeting topic and select the time zone, and date and time. By default, the addresses in the To and From fields of the email message become meeting invitees. Enter the email address of participants that you want to add, and then click Create meeting.
Join and start meetings from Gmail
It's convenient to start or join a meeting that's scheduled using Gmail. Click in the side panel and select Start or Join under Upcoming Meetings. Meet instantly with all recipients of the email message by clicking Start an instant meeting. Enter a new meeting topic, invite more participants, and select Start Meeting.
