Set up a tenant in Webex Contact Center
After you've provisioned your Contact Center services, you'll land on Control Hub. From here, you can easily access Contact Center and begin to set up or manage a tenant.
When you first land on the Control Hub, the initial recommended step is to synchronize the Control Hub users with the Contact Center. Once you've synchronized the users, you can begin configuring them in Contact Center.
Sync users
Once you have users with Contact Center entitlements, it's important to synchronize them with Contact Center. This step is necessary to successfully assign Contact Center privileges to the users. To learn about the different roles and privileges available in Contact Center, see Webex Contact Center Administrator Roles and Privileges.
To synchronize the users:
1 |
Sign in to Control Hub. |
2 |
Navigate to Services > Contact Center. |
3 |
From the Contact Center navigation pane, select Tenant settings > General. |
4 |
Click Synchronize Users. |
Update timezone
As an administrator, you can update timezone for your tenant. However, this timezone change from Control Hub will only impact your voice channels and doesn't apply for the digital channels.
To update the timezone:
1 |
Sign in to Control Hub. |
2 |
Navigate to Services > Contact Center. |
3 |
From the Contact Center navigation pane, select Tenant settings > General > Service Details. |
4 |
Click Tenant Timezone drop box to select a timezone for the tenant. |
What to do next
To effectively optimize Contact Center for the tenant and for a customized experience, we highly recommend configuring security, voice, and desktop settings.
